I just read in the flesherton advance of Bettys passing, im so sorry but happy for her too because she will be again with her Wally. I remember both of them fondly when I look over at their house in markdale. I still get a chuckle of the time Bettys medic alert system went off and I tried to explain to them that she was on a cruise and the battery must have died. They insisted that I go check her apartment on george street and phone them back. I know her family will miss her as she loved them all.

To the extended Canivet family. I was truly sorry to hear today of Betty's passing. I am the son of Fred Tupling and Genie Leather and I know that Wally and Betty had a long history with my folks. Thank you Brad for taking the time to contact our family today. Unfortunately, both Ron and Genie Leather passed in 2015 and 2016 respectively, both at the age of 92. I apologize that I did not contact your family but I was dealing with 15 or so address books of Genie's and missed some folks. In the past 10 years, all of our parents, Tuplings and Leathers have passed. They had wonderful, adventure filled lives and are missed by all daily.
