After a long battle with COPD at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 of Wasaga Beach at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Deborah for 38 years. Loving father of Roseanne of Owen Sound, Ronda(Rick) of Brampton, Roselle(Dave) of Dundalk, Tammy(John) of Wasaga Beach, Tanya(Billy) of Phelpston, Timmy(Deby) of Stayner and Tracy of Wasaga Beach. Bill was predeceased by his children Roger, Rick and Baby Varley. Doting grandfather of 23 and great grandfather of 18 with 2 more on the way. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Benny, Ada, Calvin and John. Predeceased by Harvey, Arlie, Mervin, Lillian, Butch, Philip, Evelyn, Ivan and Bruce. Loved and remembered by many extended family.
Bill was a joker, always playing tricks and "picking on" Debbie and the grand kids. Well known as a hard worker, he loved to tinker and fix things, spend time with his family and keep busy travelling the great outdoors on his motorcycle.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 8 from 6-8pm at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception (1 Highland Drive Flesherton) and on Sunday from noon until the time of service at 1pm in the chapel.
