After a strong battle, Darlene passed surrounded by her family at her home in Dundalk on Thursday, February 28, 2019 just a few months shy of her 60th birthday. Born and raised in Trout River, Newfoundland. At a young age she moved to Ontario Where she created her life and live it to the fullest. She leaves behind her loving husband Gerard, beautiful daughters Ashley(Justin) and Samantha and her favourite little people, her grandchildren Lhandyn, Anndora, Greyson, Liam and Locklyn.
She was reunited with her loving parents Algon and Geneva Brake and her Sisters Geraldine(Ernie) and Elaine(Eric). She will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters Charles(Pasty), Elizabeth(Wilf), Elliott(Meliva), Barry(Kaye), Patricia, Wendy(Glenn), Morris(Bonnie), Denise(Gord) and many nieces and nephews
