Cassandra Marie was born May 20, 1983 in Simcoe Ont, to Rick and Dawn Morris. She was raised in Flesherton with her sister, Rickye-Lee and brother, Adam. Cassandra leaves behind, her sweet little daughter Rocklyn Marie and her loving partner Michael Timbers.
A graduate from Macphail Memorial Elementary School and Grey Highlands Secondary School. She followed her true calling working with children to graduate from Georgian College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Cassandra has touched the lives of and was adored by so many children in the Grey Highlands area for her work at the Beaver Valley Ski Club Kids Program, where she began working in high school, and then at Kids N Us program in Markdale working in the daycare. She also ran the before and after school daycare program at Macphail, as well their summer camps in Flesherton and Markdale. Many people will also remember her as a long-time employee at Steven's Restaurant in Markdale.
People will remember her skilled creative flair and her ability to make something from nothing, as well as her overwhelming passion for all children and her immediate and large extended family.
Cassandra will be greatly missed by her nieces, Jaiden and Hailey Bosch, many Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as Corey Timbers, Vikki Woodhouse and Allan Timbers. She was predeceased by her Grandparents Jim and Tresa Currie of Chatsworth, Grandparents Ordane and Sue Morris of Chatsworth.
A celebration of Cassandra's beautiful life will be held on Sunday, July 21 at 2:00pm. At Gentle Shepard Community Church, In memory of Cassandra, please feel free to bring a plate of your favourite "tasty snacks" to enjoy after the service.
