Sadly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Monday, July 15, 2019 of Flesherton in his 72nd year. Loving husband of 36 years to Jane(nee Cairns). Loving father of Kathy(Dave) Van Kralingen of Saint Joseph Island, Janine Long(Bill Hutchison) of Hamilton, Tammy(Jeff Petty) of Mount Forest and Kimberley(Andrew) Stead of London. Loved and remembered by grandchildren Jasmine and Megan Van Kralingen, Kristen and Jessica Castell, Ethan and Emmerson Petty, Finnegan Stead and the late Brooke Harrison. Dear brother of Brian(Anne) Harrison, Blaine(Coralie) Harrison, Bevin(Trish) Harrison, Brenda(Rob) Thomas all of Owen Sound. Cherished by sister in-law Colleen(Gerard) Carriere of Orleans, ON, brothers in-law Howard and Philip(Gail) Cairns all of RR7 Markdale.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Thursday, July 18 from 7:00-9:00pm and again for an hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion are called to assemble for service on Thursday at 6:45pm at the funeral home. Celebration of life from Gentle Shepherd Community Church, Eugenia, on Friday at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Gentle Shepherd Community Church or Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 333 would be gratefully appreciated.
