After a long battle, surrounded by family, Linda passed at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Michael. Loving mother to Andrew(Candice) of Flesherton and Mike Jr.(Misha) of Pemberton, BC. Adoring grandmother of Drew, Jayden and Marcus. Beloved daughter of Launa Dickie. Linda will be greatly missed by siblings Bob(Chris) Dickie of Peterborough, Marg Elliot of PEI, Millie(Don) McCoy of PEI, Tom(Peg) Dickie of Alberta, Wendy(Derek) Kittchen of PEI and Dora(Robbie) Rogers of Nova Scotia. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and her best friend Cristina Devries. Predeceased by brothers Tiny and Russ.
Linda loved spending time with her cat Missy and watching Coronation Street. She was fortunate to make two long awaited trips this year, to the east coast and west coast to visit with loved ones. She loved the lobster in the east and the breathtaking views in the west. She was an incredibly strong lady who battled to the end and will be missed and loved by many.
At Linda's request, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Condolences available at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
