Passed at Grey Bruce Health Services Owen Sound on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Formerly of Markdale and Swinton Park in her 97th year. Predeceased by husband James and son Robert. Loving mother of Don and his wife Linda(nee Karn) of Fonthill, Ken and his wife Bonnie(nee Harrison) of Priceville, and Fran and her husband Dan Pitt of Owen Sound. Emma was a loving and warm grandmother to Mark(Meaghan), Jason(Maureen), Robert(Melissa), Jamie(Stuart), Katy(Jeff), Scottie and Robyn(Connor). Her love continued on with her great grandchildren Kalen, Quinn, Rowan, Emma, Jack, William, Edan, Oszcar, Alice and Calvin. She is predeceased by 1 brother and 6 sisters.
Emma was one of the strongest women known. She faced trials and tribulation, heartbreak and hurt straight in the face without a complaint. She shone above all and showed love and kindness to all with honesty and integrity.
The family will receive friends at the Flesherton Kinplex (2 Highland Drive, Flesherton) on Sunday, March 8 from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm. Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
