Passed peacefully at Riverwood Seniors Living, Alliston formerly of Flesherton on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Beloved husband of 67 years to Joan. Loving father of Richard(Gina)(the late Gloria) of Newfoundland, Marnie(the late Robert) of Alliston, Kenneth(Susan) of New York and Michele(Henry) Romp of Leamington. Outstanding grandfather to Rebecca(Jack), Katherine, Nathan(Kat), Alesha, Hayley(John), Joshua, Kenny, Eddie. Great-grandfather of two. Brother of Audrey (the late Bruce) Gummer, Bernice(the late Harold) Paget. Predeceased by brothers Melville, Billy(Olive), James(June),and sister Joan(Armand) Martin. Well loved by many Nephews and Nieces.
Ken and Joan raised their family in Shelburne. Ken wore many career hats including, butter maker, Policeman and bread man. Ken retired from his service with the Shelburne Police force after 15 years to Flesherton to enjoy the outdoor life in the great Grey County, embracing, swimming, fishing, gardening, both downhill and cross country skiing.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, 1 Highland Drive, Flesherton at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Flesherton and District Foodbank.
