Peacefully at Country Lane Nursing Home, Chatsworth, formerly of Markdale on Monday, June 15, 2020 at the age of 92. She is reunited with her beloved husband Gerald. Loving mother of Geraldine(Bill) Hartley of Berkeley, Marilyn(Ron) Ward of Markdale and Garry(Elizabeth) Johnston of Stouffville. Loved and remembered by her grandchildren Bill(Kim), Larry, Anita(Ian), Rick(Lisa), Jamie, Ben, Leanne(Preston), Jacklyn(Scott), Haley(Jason), Ashley, her 23 great grandchildren and her 11 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her grandson Tim. She is survived by her sister Mae Baines of Markdale.
At Reta’s request cremation has taken place and a service will take place at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her husband Gerald in the Markdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Jumpstart Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
