Obituary for Robert A. Watson

Watson; Robert A.
Peacefully at Hanover District Hospital, with family by his side on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the age of 87. Formerly of Badjeros and Durham. Robert is reunited with his wife Marion (2013). Loving father of Patricia of Proton Station, Mary of Hanover, Robert of Durham, Nancy(George) Tersteege of Arthur, Shirley of Durham and Heather of Markdale. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Amanda(John), Travis, Marissa, Curtis and Kylie. Greatly missed by great-grandchildren Mya, Jason and Emilia. Robert is predeceased by his parents James and Lillian and brother James.
Robert was a hardworking man who loved the outdoors. Passionate about tinkering with and “improving” all sorts of machines, tools and toys; he always stayed busy. Getting older was tough for him, as he wasn’t able to “personalize” as efficiently but he never stopped thinking about fixing things. When he wasn’t tinkering, he was spending time with family. His grandkids were always over, playing games and learning an appreciation for good ole’ country music saying “Breaker-19, is anyone there? Come on truckers and talk to Teddy Bear”.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and tributes available at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
