After a lengthy battle with family by his side, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 of Proton Station at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Jen. Much loved father of Bella. Loving son to Allan(Rosalyn) of Kitimat, BC, Ella(Mohammed) of Oakville and son-in-law to Dave and Dianne Cook of Kinloss. Remembered by sisters Heather Hewitson and Leslie (Everton) Esmie, brother Craig(Zolynne) Hewitson and sister-in-law Joanne McEachern. Fun loving uncle to Shannon, Matt, Carson, Sophie, Levi, Shelby, Sarah, Payton, Keegan and the "greatest" great Ivy. Andy's loss is deeply felt by his community of close friends that were truly like family.
Andy's presence left a mark on anyone who met him. He will always be remembered for his "Here for a Good Time" attitude, his love of all things Toronto Maple Leafs and his love of hockey in general.
A private family celebration has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Donations to the Cancer Research Centre would be greatly appreciated.
