Obituary for Jane Coburn Bell Wilton

Bell Wilton: Jane Coburn

After a long battle, with family by her side at Chapman House Hospice on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Bob Wilton of Flesherton. Loving mother of Ian Gooda of England and Kirsti Gooda(David Côté) of Cambridge. Dearest Granny to Oliver and Felicity. Jane is lovingly remembered by sister Susan(Brian) Morgan, brother-in-laws Larry Wilton and Tom(Kendra) Wilton and sister-in-law Donna(Keith) Breadner along with many nephews. She is greatly missed by her fur babies Duncan, Fergie and Jake.
Jane Bell was a wife, a mother, and a grandmother and loved us all profoundly. A woman of profound faith, unceasing hope, and unconditional love. She was at her happiest when surrounded by the people that she loved. It didn’t matter what we were doing, as long as we were doing it together. Mum loved music (and even got some of the words right from time to time), movies, games, and thought there was no problem too big or too small or no Sunday afternoon that couldn’t be rescued by a meal out. This was often accompanied by the waitress being held hostage as Jane told the waitress about her family’s latest achievement or milestone. Mum just wanted everyone to know how proud she was of her family and she wanted us to know as well. We knew, and we want the world to know that we are equally proud of her too. Many conversations have been had in her honour and will continue in the time to come and it’s only fitting that some of these occur with a meal out.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be planned for a later date. Memorial donations to Chapman House Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Online Condolences and tributes available at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
