Peacefully at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in his 75th year. Much loved brother of Henry and Carrie of Eden and Curtis and Valerie of Hanover. Loving uncle to Michael, Eric, Tina and their families.
William lived a quiet life; going to work, visiting with family and enjoying a good coffee from Tim Horton's . He was born and raised in Pugwash, Nova Scotia where he worked as a young man on fishing and lobster boats before moving to Ontario. He continued working with what he knew on a fishing boat in Port Burwell until a time when he became a welder in a fabricating shop. He never forgot his roots and loved getting out fishing any chance he was given.
Cremation has taken place. His cremated remains will be interred in Pugwash Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
