Peacefully, surrounded by her family at her home in Markdale on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her loving husbands; David Wilson (2018) and Klaus Karras (1999). Loving mother of Michaela Johnston (Garnet) of West Grey and Susan (Dave) Sweiger of Markdale. Forever lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Asha Daigle of Dundas, Kris Sweiger of Markdale and Leah (Chad) Mielhausen of Owen Sound. Proud great-grandmother of Joshua Briggs of Angus and Aletheia Daigle of Dundas. Sadly missed by her stepchildren Sandra (Michael) Garvey of Ottawa, Kathleen (Doug) Prince of Brantford, and Paul Wilson of Hamilton and by her many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by Kristine Briggs. Christa made an impression on everyone she met and will be missed by her many friends in Germany and Canada.
