After a courageous battle, passed peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound of Berkeley on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the age of 71 years. Beloved husband of Patricia(nee Smith) for 40 years. Loving father of Sean (Teresa), Colin, Charity(Jeff), Deana and Amanda(Michael). Cherished grandfather of Krystal, Shawna, Jesse, Reece, Carly, Jennifer, Timothy, William, Emma, Kyle, Ryley, Gracie, Memphis, Michael and 13 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Sharon(John) Boyce, Brian(Catherine Lazette), Gary(Benita), Craig(Shelley), Shelley(Ken) Rush. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Elaine Post, daughter Gwen, Grandson Devin and brother Wayne.
Dean was born on April 7, 1951 in North Bay to William and Elaine Post. Their first born out of 7. Dean attended Markdale High School and later met and married the love of his life Pat on October 8, 1982. They took pride in their blended families. They purchased the Berkeley property in 1988 and continued the business they started in Calgary in 1981; D R Post Towing and Auto parts. But Dean was known of his hard work, making himself highly desired as a Class A truck driver, Class A mechanic and a Ford man!
As Dean started slow down, he cherished every moment he got with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by his vast circles of friends.
