Peacefully at Chapman House Hospice, on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the age of 81 years. She is reunited with her husband Lorne (2004). Loving mother of Debbie Eagles of Owen Sound, Connie Eagles of Holland Centre, Fred Eagles of Mirror, Alberta and the late Lorrie Eagles-Schwalm. Dear step-mother to Cindy(the late Harry) Manovich of Milton and Sandra(the late Bob) Neilsen of North Bay. Cherished grandmother of Vicki(Kevin) Pietz of Fonthill, Jody Scammel of Hanover and Charles Eagles of Mirror, Alberta. Proud great grandmother of Ashtyn, Alyssa and Gavin. Dear sister of Gord(Sandy) Thompson of Proton Station, Dave(Linda) Thompson of Elmwood and Jim(Lynn) Thompson of Port Elgin. Predeceased by her brothers, Bob, Fred, Albert and sister Marg McElwain. Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Lil's door was always open to everyone. She loved hard work on the farm, people, fun and had an unbelievable love for life. She was never alone. She will be loved and cherished by many. The world truly lost an amazing woman.

Cremation has taken place. The interment for Lillian will be at McNeil Cemetery on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Following the Interment, the family invites friends and relatives to the Stothart Hall for a Celebration of Lillian's Life. Please come with your fond memories to share.
