Graham; James (Jim) - March 31, 1937 - February 15, 2023
Surrounded by his family at their Townsend Lake Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in his 86th year. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Carol (nee Yard). Loving Dad of Dave(Linda Low), Rob(Scott Kettles) and Colleen(Dave) Vandenberg. Cherished Granda of Connor(Hannah), Shaye, Riley(Corbin), Mikaela(Josh), Fayth(Myles), Jenna(Tanner) and Carleigh. Dear brother of Sandra McStravick and Rob(Janet) Graham and brother-in-law of Arlene(Ray) Bullas and Sandra Yard. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jim was born March 31, 1937 in Belfast, Northern Ireland to James and Jean Graham. He, along with a friend, made an adventure of moving to Canada at the age of 20. He met and married the love of his life in Toronto, 1962 .They raised their 3 children in Bramalea and stayed there until their retirement in 2003. This new adventure brought them to Grey Highlands, where they made many friends and enjoyed family. Jim filled his spare time with golfing, curlin, enjoying a pint at the pub and his weekly card games with his buddies. Jim was an avid sports fan, he loved playing soccer, cycling and coached many hockey and soccer teams in his earlier years. Jim loved music, everyone that knows him remembers him and Carol were show stoppers on the dance floor with their amazing jive moves.The most important thing to Jim was spending time with his family and friends – they were his world.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. (1 Highland Drive, Flesherton) on Monday, February 20th from 1:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
