Passed peacefully in his sleep at Rockwood Terrace Home for the Aged, Durham, formerly of Markdale in his 87th year. He is reunited with his late wife Mary Catherine(1999). Loving father of Vikki(Corey Timbers) of Flesherton and Phillip(Bonita) Woodhouse of Kimberley. Cherished grandfather of Michael(the late Cassandra), Allan (Hannah) and Christopher. Proud great grandfather of Rocklyn. Dear brother of Laura Hargrave of Wareham, Ken(Nettie) of Fergus, John(Doreen) of Chatsworth, brother in-law of Helen McCutcheon of Owen Sound, Frances Holmes of Owen Sound, Vivian of Waterloo, Doug (Linda) McNicol of Collingwood, Linda McNicol (Spears) of Nottawa. Predeceased by brothers Harvey, Dave, Bruce, Herb and sister Marjorie Johnson, sisters-in-law Helen, Edith, Janet and Marjorie, and brothers -in-law Gordon Hargrave, Jack Holmes, Robert McNicol and Tom Johnson.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Friday, March 10 from 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral Service from St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Thornbury on Saturday at 11:00am and will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Interment Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery.
