Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in his home on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the age of 63. Predeceased by his parents Dawson and Marion(nee Wiley). Survived by his wife Nancy(nee Cashin) of 35 years, brother Ronnie(Debbie), sister Connie(Keith) MacDonald, children Andrew(Shelley), Amy(Jeff), Chris(Katie) and Cari(Scott). Grandchildren Grace(Reg), Abby, Kate, Alaya, Leslie, Leroy, Grayson, Payton and great grandson Jaxon. Many in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Cheryl and Mike for going above and beyond the last few years, Fraser MacPherson for being anywhere and everywhere when needed, and VON nurse Laura for all the care she gave to Dad.
A party in his honour will take place on Saturday, April 15 at the Markdale Community Centre from 2-6 with a hot meal at 4. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to VON Grey Bruce in Home Support would be greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place, private family interment at Markdale Cemetery at a later date.
David loved his family and everything he did was for them. His passion for farming was his own level and the wilder the adventure, the better.
