Loving father of Wendy (Joe, predeceased) Bodhaine of Brampton and Gary (Nora) Bullas of Corunna. Ray was born August 13, 1931 in Swansea, Toronto, Ontario and attended Weston Collegiate. After graduation he went to work for Orenda Engines, where he worked as a small tool designer on the Iroquois engine for the AVRO Arrow until that fateful Friday when everyone lost their job due to the Government cancellation of the Arrow. Ray being such a hard worker, and a skilled tool designer draftsman, he was only off work for 2 weeks. After many years in the aircraft industry he went to work for Atomic Energy of Canada and returned to Orenda Engines, for a short term, before his retirement in 1988. Upon retiring Ray and Arlene moved to the family cottage at Lake Eugenia. Ray enjoyed many years of curling, golfing, Masonic and Eastern star meetings and of course, his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Sunday, April 16 from 2:00-4:00pm.
