Velda Hindle is returning to Flesherton having passed peacefully surrounded by family, and dear friends on Thursday May 4, 2023 in her 88th year. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved mother, father, brothers, and sister. Loving mother of Jeff (Mary) of Ajax. She is also loved and remembered by her grandchildren Rachel and Matthew Hindle, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Velda held a deep love for her family; After retiring from a rewarding 38 year career with Bell Canada, she enjoyed every moment she could with Jeff and her grandchildren. Delighted by children, she enthusiastically attended hockey and baseball games, ballet recitals and graduations. The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Home, 1 Highland Drive, Flesherton, on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 1-2pm followed by a Service from 2-3pm.
