Miller-Banks; Maureen Grace(nee Miller)
After many health issues, went peacefully at Collingwood and Marine General Hospital, formerly of Eugenia, on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in her 86th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband, the late “Ernie” Ronald Banks. She will be missed by Ernie’s children Chris McFater, John Banks and their families. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon and Donald Miller. Cherished cousin of Helen Spencer and family. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Maureen was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and moved to Canada when she was only 18 years old. She was with Air Canada for over 30 years, starting as a flight agent and then moved into management. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Grey Chapter #170, Flesherton.
Member of the Order of the Eastern Star are called to assemble for service, at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton, on Tuesday, September 5, for 12:30. Memorial Service will take place following the star service at 1:00pm. Cremation has taken place, and Maureen will be interred at the Hantsport Cemetery, Nova Scotia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation or to a hospital of your choice for Liver and Cancer Research.
