Campbell; Clifford Dale

After a short battle, with his family by his side, Dale passed at Residential Hospice Grey Bruce on Thursday, October 6, 2016 of Markdale in his 71st year. Beloved husband of 47 years to Jessie(nee Aitken). Loving father of Michelle(Helena Briand) of Ajax. Dear brother of Bill Campbell of Nepean and brother in-law of Shelia Flear of Markdale. Loved and remembered as uncle to Janet(Rob) Stewart of West Virginia, Scott(Laurie) of Alberta, Donald Flear of Markdale and Barbara Stevens of England. Fond memories by childhood friend Leonard Reese of Nova Scotia. He is predeceased by his parents Clifford and Janet and step-mother Flo Campbell. Dale came to Ontario in 1960 from Nova Scotia and worked most of his life at Northern Telecom/Nortel. He enjoyed his time as a member of the Markdale Seniors Club, fishing and the hours spent at the Glendale Yacht Club at William's Lake. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Saturday, October 8 from 1:00pm until the time of celebration at 3:00pm. Cremation to follow with interment in Berkeley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Residential Hospice Grey Bruce Chapman House or the Alzheimer Society of Grey Bruce would be gratefully appreciated.
