Remember Me
Don’t remember me with sadness,
Don’t remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter,
We’ve shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented
That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing that I passed along the way
I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street
And you’ve got me on your mind,
I’m walking in your footsteps
Only half a step behind.
So please don’t be unhappy
Just because I’m out of sight,
Remember that I’m with you
Each morning, noon and night

I first met TISH when I was working at West Acres Recreation Centre she was a valuable volunteer and helped out at many of the activities that were organized She was in the choir for years and drove other choir members to places where they were performing She also volunteered as a bartender with her brother John at the many dinner dances we held She was 95 at the time
My fondest memories of Tish are when we went as a group of seniors representing Etobicoke to Bark Lake Leadership Camp Tish performed in skits and played the spoons and kept the l seniors from all over Ontario entertained I also took Seniors from West acres by bus and we would go to the Beaver show for many year to watch Tish perform She would
come and perform when ever I asked her as I was involved with a few groups outside of West Acres. She was also very helpful in the community She operated the loom at Richview Residence where they took milk bags and weaved them into mattresses for sleeping children around the world She brought Sunshine into the lives of a lot of people she will be greatly missed gone but not forgotten love ANNE COLHOUN

I know you did it by mistake saying fish instead of Tish but it’s actually funny one of my moms sisters when they were fighting back-and-forth used to call her Tish the fish so although it was a mistake yeah brought back some nice memories of my moms stories about her sister

I remember Tish's beautiful singing voice filling the chapel at Riverwood when I led the monthly Communion services there, Her voice encouraged everyone to join in. Her smile also was infectious cheering everyone up. Deacon Pam Alderson, St Andrew Anglican Church, Alliston.
